Ingredients

Serves : 3
  • 1 cups poha


  • 1/4 tsp mustard seeds


  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds


  • 1 sprig curry leaves


  • 1 nos onion ,chopped


  • 1 nos green chilly,chopped


  • 1 nos tomato,chopped


  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder


  • 1 tsp udupi ruchi garam masala powder


  • 1/2 tsp coriander powder


  • 3 tbsp green peas


  • 5-6 french beans ,chopped


  • 1 nos carrot ,small,chopped


  • 3 tbsp roasted peanut.crushed


  • 1 pinch sugar


  • 2 tbsp coriander leaves,chopped


  • 1 tsp lemon juice


  • 1 tsp salt,as per your taste


  • 2-3 tbsp oil

Directions

  • Soak the poha for few mins in water and drain the water completely. Keep aside. 
  • Heat oil in a pan. Add the mustard seeds and cumin seeds and let it crackle. 
  • Add the sugar, curry leaves, onions, green chillies and saute till onion turns soft. 
  • Add tomatoes and saute for a min or two. Add the turmeric powder, coriander powder and udupi ruchi garam masala powder and saute for a min. 
  • Add the chopped vegetables and saute for about 5 mins. 
  • Add the soaked poha, roasted peanut, chopped coriander leaves and gently mix well. Cover the pan with lid for few mins and take off the heat. 
  • Squeeze the lemon juice and serve hot.
